OpenAI releases math results with Lean formalizations

OpenAI says it has released new mathematical results in a GitHub repository with revision and citation protocols, alongside computer-checkable Lean formalizations for many proofs. The company says the repository also includes process details, including reasoning summaries and attempted-problem statistics. Why it matters: The useful distinction is between a model claim and an inspectable research record. The materials make checking possible; they do not establish independent mathematical acceptance, novelty, or community value on their own.
