Hermes Bot Mode turns profiles into named bots

Hermes Bot Mode is a desktop plugin that presents isolated Hermes profiles as named bots with their own chats, avatars, routines, and Agent Inbox handoffs. The plugin uses the existing profile and scheduled-task surfaces rather than a separate bot runtime. Why it matters: A bot roster makes routines and handoffs easier to see, but it also makes profile boundaries operational. Before duplicating a real profile, inspect which skills, toolsets, credentials, and histories would cross into the copy.

Try this: Create a credential-free test profile in the desktop app, run one harmless routine, and inspect the bot’s chat history and Agent Inbox before cloning a profile that has real access.
