IBM MCP Context Forge

An Apache-2.0 gateway and registry for MCP, A2A, REST, and gRPC tools, with centralized discovery, proxying, guardrails, observability, auth, rate limits, retries, and OpenTelemetry support. Why it matters: As agent tool stacks grow, a governed gateway can reduce ad hoc MCP configuration and make tool access easier to audit, route, and limit.

Try this: Place two MCP servers behind Context Forge in a sandbox and verify discovery, auth boundaries, rate limits, and traces before exposing more tools.
