Computer History needs data boundaries

OpenAI introduced Computer History for the ChatGPT Mac desktop app. The opt-in feature can use activity from selected apps and websites as context for later requests, with controls to exclude sources, pause collection, and clear stored history. Why it matters: A desktop assistant that can see recent work can write a useful standup. It can also make app activity part of the model context. The product boundary is whether people can inspect what was captured, narrow the scope before collection, and delete the record reliably.

Try this: Before enabling Computer History, inspect the app and website list, pause collection, and test deletion with a harmless file or calendar event. Then verify that it no longer appears in the activity timeline or a new ChatGPT response.
